Bike Safety month 2010

WHY SHOULD YOU GET INVOLVED?

Bike tyre safety month will run throughout April and will highlight the dangers of riding motorcycles and scooters on defective or badly worn tyres. By supporting the campaign you can help us to raise awareness about these serious safety issues and help to reduce the number of motorcyclists killed or injured on the UK’s roads as a result of tyre related accidents.

We would like as many motorcycle dealers and repairers, tyre retailers and motorcycle accessory shops to lend their support by offering free tyre safety checks to their customers. By doing this, not only will the vital safety messages be communicated more effectively, but you may also benefit directly with increased traffic that results from supporting the campaign which will receive significant national media exposure.

HOW DO I TAKE PART?

There is a range of support material available free of charge including a press advertising template, free pressure and tread check posters and a motorcycle tyre safety leaflet for you to give to customers.
