First Northern Ireland Company Joins The TIC's Responsible Recycler Scheme
Published 6th May 2004
The Responsible Recycler Scheme provides tyre retailers and others with the highest standards of accountability and best practice from their used tyre collectors and reprocessors. The Scheme embraces nineteen of the country's leading operators.
Scheme secretary, Peter Taylor said, "We are particularly pleased to welcome our first member from Northern Ireland and now hope that others will the follow the R4 lead. We also have the BRMA to thank for making it so much easier for smaller regional operators to join with us. The BRMA's financial support for our current 'free audit' offer has been a particularly important factor in encouraging even more companies to join our rapidly growing scheme".
