Westlake
The Westlake Tyres are produced by the Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Company Limited –ZC Rubber–, which was founded in 1958, and today is the world’s 10th largest tyre maker. Its production figures as a tyre builder back this fact.
In 2009, it produced 7.2 million radial tyres for trucks and buses, 16 million tyres for passenger cars and SUVs, 90 millions for bicycles and motorcycles, and 4,5 million bias tyres. Its output forecast for 2012 is even more ambitious: 12 million truck and bus radial tyres, 30 million tyres for passenger cars and vans, 5 million bias tyres, 116 million bike and motorcycle tyres and 0.2 million OTR and agricultural tyres.
The brand is distributed in the UK by London-based, Eskay Tyres Ltd. Westlake and Eskay Tyres are fully committed to backing the Tyre Safe campaign.
