With just weeks to go until the start of this October’s tyre safety month, TyreSafe is urging tyre retailers, workshops and road safety professionals to order their free publicity materials without delay so they don’t miss out.
Indeed, posters and leaflets are still available to any organisations with an interest in road safety, but demand this year has been the biggest ever so TyreSafe is advising – don’t delay, order today!
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “Tyre safety month in 2013 will be the biggest by far and demand for our free tyre safety month campaign materials has been incredible, in fact, the most we’ve ever had.
“The even better news is that there’s still just enough time for those organisations who have not yet ordered their materials to do so. However, the clock is ticking so they now need to act fast.”
Central to this year’s tyre safety month campaign is asking motorists to ‘check their pressures’ and to make a commitment to carry on doing so on a monthly basis.
Anyone who is connected to the automotive industry or simply has an interest in making the roads safer, whether it’s for their customers, own staff or the wider motoring public, is invited to take part in tyre safety month.
Whether it’s a poster in a reception area, leaflets for customer waiting areas or even an on-line website banner, all are available to order at no cost by registering on TyreSafe’s brand new microsite for this year’s campaign at www.tyresafe.org/campaigns/tyre-safety-month-2013.
“Tyre safety month gets bigger and bigger every year and is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to raising tyre safety in your area. This is your last chance to join likeminded organisations determined to make a positive difference to road safety,” added Jackson.
