TyreSafe adds over 40 years’ experience to its membership with Selecta Tyre

Selecta Tyre Ltd, a tyre retailer and fitter with 15 branches across the UK, has become the 97th member of tyre safety association TyreSafe.

As an independent, family-run business, Selecta has provided tyre safety advice and guidance for its customers since its very beginning in 1973, building a reputation based on dedication to customer care. By joining TyreSafe Selecta has access to TyreSafe’s campaigns and resource materials and is able to offer additional support to its customers and staff.

“Becoming a member of TyreSafe is a proud moment for Selecta Tyre,” said Simon Pashley, chairman and JMD of Selecta. “We have always made sure our customers are confident that they’ve bought the right product, and this process begins and ends with their safety.

“Our safety message will be boosted by the support of an organisation with the scope and authority of TyreSafe. The more information we can give our customers, for example on the dangers of buying part worn tyres, the safer they will be.”

Selecta Tyre’s 15 branches can be found via the Dealer Locator on both TyreSafe’s website and smartphone app, which also provides motorists a host of tyre safety advice while on the go through their mobile phone.

“Adding Selecta Tyre to our membership is great news for TyreSafe and the UK public,” adds Stuart Jackson, TyreSafe chairman. “With our message being communicated via another 15 tyre retailers, we’re helping to ensure that every motorist in the UK understands safe tyre care.”

TyreSafe’s 97 members and supporters come from a wide range of sectors including tyre manufacturer and retailers, car manufacturers, dealer groups, insurers, fleet providers, emergency services, local road safety partnerships and many more.
