The Approved Workshop Scheme is a joint enterprise between the NCC (National Caravan Council), The Caravan and Motorhome Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Originating on the 1st January 1978, and the only scheme to be supported by all of the major UK manufacturers. AWS is now the UK’s largest group of independently assessed workshops and is seen as the benchmark for motorhome and touring caravan servicing in the UK.

ARRM is the membership organisation for professionals and organisations involved in work-related road safety and the management of occupational road risk, collaborating with other organisations to promote innovation and share best practice.

Established in 1999, the British Aggregates Association (BAA) is the leading voice for independent, small and medium-sized quarry operators in the UK. Led by industry experts, the BAA provides comprehensive support and advice on health and safety, planning, transport, environmental, technical, and regulatory matters. The association actively represents the interests of its members at all levels of government, ensuring their perspectives are considered in policymaking.

The British Horse Society are the largest equestrian charity and membership organisation in the UK. They exist to protect and promote the interests of every horse and are here to support every rider, horse owner, carriage driver, those who work in the equestrian community and everyone who simply has an interest in the wellbeing of equines.

The BMF is a long established and effective lobbying group. It protects UK motorcyclists from interference by European, National, Local Government and anti-motorcycling campaign groups. The BMF is a member of many government advisory groups and also works in Europe on behalf of British motorcyclists. The BMF is also a fantastic community, made up of individual members and motorcycle clubs, it provides support, advice and organises excellent events throughout the UK

The British Riding Clubs (BRC) represents a significant community of over 34,000 horse riders across the UK. With a strong network of over 440 clubs, BRC provides a valuable platform to reach a large and engaged audience of horse owners and riders.

BRC offers a unique opportunity for Tyresafe to effectively communicate crucial tyre safety information to a highly relevant and receptive community. This collaboration can help raise awareness of tyre safety for horseboxes and other vehicles used by horse riders.

Established in 1901, The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world’s oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping. Their aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring and they are proud to have over 700,000 members who agree.

Championing and helping its members get more from the great outdoors, whether glamping or touring, the Caravan and Motorhome Club represents the interests of over 1.1 million caravan, motorhome, campervan and trailer tent owners across the UK. With over 117 years of knowledge and expertise, the Club has a wealth of experience and prides itself on offering great value and high quality campsites for tourers and glampers. CLOCS is the National Standard for ensuring the safest construction vehicle journeys, reducing risk to vulnerable road users, improving air quality and congestion, and driving operational efficiencies.

It brings regulators, clients, contractors and fleet operators together to work collaboratively to maximise the many commercial and social benefits associated with safer, leaner and greener construction logistics.

The MCIA represents in excess of 90% of the supply side of the industry; the manufacturers and importers of Powered Two Wheelers (PTWs) and other L-Category vehicles, accessory and component suppliers and companies providing associated services.

Based in Coventry, the MCIA works closely with members and a wide variety of stakeholders such as Government and its agencies, police, press and road safety organisations to promote, protect and expand the UK L-Category industry.

The National Motorcyclists Council (NMC) is a coalition of motorcycling representative organisations, which works together on commonly held positions about issues where motorcyclists seek to change or influence government policy. It also researches issues to both inform campaigning and support the individual work of its members.

The NTTA is a not-for-profit organisation, and is the main body in the UK representing the light towing industry. It represents the interests of its members on national bodies and keeps those members informed of changes to help them run their businesses more effectively.

The NTTA sets the standards for the towing industry today.

NFU Mutual (National Farmers’ Union Mutual Insurance Society) is a prominent UK-based mutual insurance company founded in 1910. Because they prioritise a personal approach, they generally do not sell policies through price comparison websites or offer full online purchasing, preferring instead to provide tailored advice through their local agents or over the phone.

The Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) serves as a collaborative body for the British railway industry, focused on delivering a safer, more efficient, and sustainable network. Working closely with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and regulators, the organisation develops and maintains rigorous industry standards, leads critical safety research, and delivers comprehensive data analysis to help identify and mitigate operational risks across the rail system.

Their approach to safety is deeply rooted in evidence-based improvement and collective knowledge sharing, aiming to prevent incidents and promote a proactive safety culture. By setting technical and operational standards, facilitating cross-industry cooperation, and investigating safety trends, the RSSB supports railway organisations in maintaining high safety performance while ensuring the protection of passengers, staff, and the public.

The Road Haulage Association (RHA) is the UK’s only trade body dedicated solely to the interests of commercial vehicle operators, representing over 8,500 members ranging from individual owner-drivers to large fleets.

It provides essential support through legal services, training, and policy advocacy, while campaigning for improvements in road infrastructure, driver welfare, and the transition to net-zero emissions.

The Road Safety Treatment Association (RSTA) is a UK-based trade association representing companies involved in the maintenance and improvement of road surfaces. Their members include those specialising in road marking, surfacing, and other safety treatments. RTSA members are directly involved in creating and maintaining road infrastructure that interacts with tyres, offering a unique perspective on road safety. Collaborating with the RSTA will enable TyreSafe to amplify its messaging through channels reaching road maintenance professionals and potentially integrate tyre safety considerations into broader road safety strategies and infrastructure development. This partnership will lead to more holistic and impactful road safety campaigns, ultimately contributing to safer roads for all users.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is one of the largest and most influential trade associations in the UK. Its resources, reputation and unrivalled automotive data place it at the heart of the UK automotive industry.

SMMT is the voice of the UK motor industry, supporting and promoting its members’ interests, at home and abroad, to government, stakeholders and the media.

The AA is the UK’s leading provider of roadside assistance serving 14 million members with approximately 2,700 patrols attending an average of 9,000 breakdowns daily and is rated by drivers as the first choice for electric vehicle breakdown.

The AA’s mission is to create confidence for drivers now and for the future – anticipating drivers’ needs since 1905 and striving to be always ahead. The AA provides services across its roadside businesses from AA Driving School and BSM, to DriveTech, the leader in driver education. In addition, AA Smart Care provides bookings for MOTs, maintenance, service and repair in AA certified garages. AA Cars is a trusted vendor of used cars with free history checks and breakdown cover. The AA’s insurance broker offers motor and home policies, operating a diverse panel of underwriters including the AA’s in-house underwriter, plus AA Financial Services and Accident Assist. The AA continues to invest in connected car innovation and digital services.

Rising concern over the continuing high level of fatal and life-changing injury accidents on farms prompted rural insurer NFU Mutual to set up a charitable foundation in 2014 to help farmers in the UK work safely (Registered Charity No. 1159000).

The Farm Safety Foundation, also known as Yellow Wellies, works to engage, educate and communicate strong and relatable farm safety messages. For over a decade, the Farm Safety Foundation has developed and delivered farm safety training for over 29,000 young farmers in 44 land-based colleges and universities throughout the UK and through the Young Farmers’ Club network.

The charity works all year round to challenge and change the culture of risk-taking and poor mental health in the industry through providing resources such as the Build Your Own Health & Safety Policy digital tool, The Little Book of Minding Your Head and the recently launched Little Book of Farm Safety . The charity also funds and manages two national campaigns –  Farm Safety Week and Mind Your Head and conducts annual tracker research into the attitudes and behaviours to farm safety and mental health in those working in the industry.

Through this activity, the Farm Safety Foundation is preserving and protecting the physical and mental wellbeing of the next generation of farmers and equipping them with the skills and confidence to live well and farm well.

The NCC was established more than 75 years ago (1939) as the UK trade body representing the collective interests of four product sectors – tourer, motorhome and caravan holiday home (leisure products) and residential park homes.

The National Private Hire & Taxi Association (NPHTA) serves as a dedicated trade association representing the interests of private hire operators, hackney carriage drivers, and local taxi associations across the UK. Established to raise professional standards, its primary role is to provide essential advocacy, support, and expert advice to its members, particularly when they encounter challenges with local licensing authorities, legislative changes, or committee disputes.

Beyond individual support, the NPHTA acts as an invaluable knowledge hub for the industry, offering members access to research on case law, government consultations, and evolving transport regulations. By facilitating the exchange of ideas and engaging directly with government bodies, the association works to ensure that the taxi and private hire trade remains competitive and well-represented in the face of new technologies and a rapidly changing regulatory landscape.

The Pony Club UK is a leading youth equestrian organisation with over 110,000 members worldwide. They provide a supportive environment for young people to learn about horsemanship, develop valuable life skills, and participate in a wide range of equestrian activities. Recognising the importance of road safety, The Pony Club UK actively promotes responsible horse transportation practices among its members.
