TyreSafe announces partnership with Child Seat Safety Ltd to highlight combined importance of child car seats and tyre safety.
TyreSafe, the UK’s leading tyre safety charity, has announced a new partnership with Child Seat Safety Ltd, the country’s only independent organisation specialising in car seat training, advice and consultancy.
Founded in 2011 by Julie Dagnall and Claire Waterhouse, Child Seat Safety brings together extensive experience from across road safety, nursery products, training, education, and customer engagement. The team are Road Safety GB’s national advisors for child car seats and run the UK’s first and only IOSH and CPD accredited training courses in this field. Their mission is simple: to ensure that every journey is a safe journey.
The collaboration between TyreSafe and Child Seat Safety Ltd underscores a critical message for families and road users: child safety in vehicles relies not only on correctly fitted car seats but also on the roadworthiness of the vehicle itself. While parents and carers often focus on choosing and fitting the right child seat, they may overlook the condition of their tyres – a vital safety component that plays a crucial role in keeping every passenger safe.
