Collaboration with Pamoja Road Safety Initiative aims to improve tyre safety and reduce road casualties
TyreSafe, the UK’s only charity dedicated to raising awareness of tyre safety, has announced its second international partnership—joining forces with the Pamoja Road Safety Initiative (PRSI), a registered NGO in Kenya committed to safer roads and sustainable mobility.
PRSI works to reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities across Kenya while promoting inclusive, environmentally friendly, and accessible transport solutions. Through evidence-based advocacy, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, PRSI seeks to influence policy, raise public awareness, and drive lasting change in how people move—creating safer, healthier transport systems for current and future generations.
This new collaboration will see TyreSafe share its proven ACT message—Air pressure, Condition, Tread—and best-practice educational materials to help raise awareness of tyre safety in Kenya, where road traffic incidents remain a leading cause of injury and death. PRSI will integrate these messages into its community outreach, school programmes, and national advocacy campaigns.

PRSI becomes the second overseas partner to join TyreSafe’s global outreach efforts, marking another step in the charity’s mission to reduce road deaths and injuries through simple, practical tyre safety education.
