TyreSafe, the UK’s road safety charity dedicated to raising awareness of tyre maintenance and safety, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Somerset Council. The collaboration marks another significant step in expanding community engagement around safer tyre practices and joins a growing list of local authorities working alongside TyreSafe to help reduce tyre-related incidents on UK roads.
This partnership supports Somerset Council’s ongoing commitment to improving road safety for all residents—whether they travel by car, van, or motorcycle. By teaming up with TyreSafe, the Council will have access to expert advice, campaign toolkits, and public engagement resources designed to promote safer tyre habits year-round.

The partnership will allow Somerset Council to amplify TyreSafe’s key safety messages, including the importance of checking air pressure, condition, and tread depth—the core of TyreSafe’s ACT campaign. Campaign resources will be distributed through local events, council communications, and social media channels.
