UK tyre safety charity TyreSafe has announced a new partnership with Road Safety Support (RSS), bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to reducing deaths and serious injuries on the road through evidence-led approaches and effective collaboration.
Road Safety Support is a not-for-profit company that provides specialist services to safer roads partnerships, police forces and highway authorities in the UK and overseas. Its work spans casualty data analysis, enforcement strategy development, support for speed and red-light technology, road safety marketing, and the provision of independent expert evidence and legal assistance in road traffic prosecutions.
The partnership builds on TyreSafe’s growing network of police forces, highways authorities and local authorities, strengthening its ability to align tyre safety education and enforcement with wider road safety intelligence, data and operational insight.
By working together, TyreSafe will benefit from RSS’s expertise in road safety data, analysis and enforcement strategy, helping to further develop evidence-led campaigns and resources. In turn, TyreSafe will support RSS and its partners by providing specialist tyre safety insight, research and practical guidance to ensure vehicle condition — and tyres in particular — are fully recognised as a critical component of the Safe System approach.
