Welcome to our final update of 2025, which includes a link to our annual review roundup video. Thank you so much for everything you have done in support of our mission this year.
Before reading on, we invite you to watch our short 2025 Year in Review video, which captures the scale, reach and impact of TyreSafe’s work over the past 12 months.
From national campaigns and international partnerships to local enforcement initiatives and community outreach, the video highlights how working stronger in partnership has helped us reach millions and drive meaningful change in tyre safety.
The statistics around tyre-related casualties remind us why our work remains urgent. Yet 2025 has also demonstrated what can be achieved when industry, enforcement, government and communities come together with a shared purpose. From national campaigns to local interventions, the evidence is clear: we are strongest when we work in partnership.
A Year of Progress and Recognition
2025 has been a year of significant progress for TyreSafe, both in reach and impact.
At our Annual Briefing in June, we set partnership as our guiding theme – and the momentum since then has been remarkable. Notably, we have formalised partnerships with the British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (BTMA), the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) and the International Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ITMA). These landmark agreements bring the industry’s leading trade associations into the heart of TyreSafe’s work, ensuring tyre safety is represented at a new level within the wider road safety conversation.
Alongside these milestones, our work with police forces, local authorities, fleet operators, the Police and Crime Commissioner, national campaigns and charities has continued to expand. Each partnership represents more voices carrying the message, more communities reached, and more people empowered to make safer choices.
Our campaigns in 2025 have reached millions. From Young Driver 2025 to Tyre Safety Month’s “Under Pressure” campaign, we have delivered targeted, evidence-led messaging designed to inspire real behaviour change. We have launched specialist campaigns with Yellow Wellies and Auto Express, gained national broadcast exposure on the BBC, ITV and Channel Five, and for the first time, proudly supported the THINK! Campaign, putting tyre safety firmly on the public agenda.
